Matthew H. Sontz​, Esq.

BIOGRAPHY

Matthew Sontz is the chairman of the Westfield Zoning Board of Adjustment.   

He earned his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University in 2003.  He practiced law in New Jersey and New York for ten years before opening the Law Office of Matthew H. Sontz, LLC in 2012.

Matthew Sontz earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering (B.S.M.E.) from Rutgers University in 1999.  He was a civilian mechanical engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Carderock Division in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He also supported the Naval Sea Systems Command in Crystal City, Virginia and Washington, D.C.  While working for the Department of Defense, Matthew Sontz managed a multi-million dollar survivability / engineering program for the construction of the Navy's LHD-8 amphibious carrier.
